Church Planting Churches
Things are a changin! Take a look across the landscape of church planting and you find change. Wherever you see high-impact results, you are likely to find church planting churches working in the midst of collaborative networks. In recent years we’ve seen a transition from organization centric approaches to more decentralized approaches that are fueled by church planting churches.
These networks focus on finding, equipping and resourcing leaders. Church planters receive strong, decentralized support services from the growing number of high-quality specialized service providers. This keeps the networks focused on their missional activities rather than starting and running support services.
In collaborative networks, individuals, organizations, and church planting churches come together in partnership to plant more churches together than can be done alone. In addition to bringing the financial resources needed, these network partners also bring expertise, coaching, training and other forms of support.
This approach allows virtually any church to participate in planting healthy, high-impact churches no matter what the size of their budget. For example, four churches partnering together and each committing $17,000 per year for three years brings a total of $200,000 together. With more than four churches forming a network, the yearly commitment is even lower.
The alliance members who affiliate via Church Planting Network are continually looking for churches and organizations to partner in church plants. Church Planting Network seeks to help churches engage in church planting via collaborative networks. Most churches find that connecting with other churches in these relational networks provides benefits far beyond the church plant that is birthed.
This collaborative approach is gaining momentum daily. If you'd like to learn more about participating, call Todd Wilson at 800.319.5361 or email him at .
